| I am a college professor of Biology and a Martial artist. I have trained in various styles and continue to enroll in open seminars but my style is Shogen-Ryu Karate-do under Taba Sensei (10th dan) who had trained under (Shoshin) Nagamine Sensei (10th dan), Chosin Chibana Sensei (10th dan), and Hohan Sokon Sensei (10th dan) to name a few. |
| I have been to Okinawa a few times where I trained directly under the Yodansha of Shogen Ryu in Okinawa. There, I began to train in Yamane Ryu Bojitsu under Maeda Sensei a direct student of Chogi Kishaba Sensei. |
| Besides my martial arts training, I have been published in both Master's Magazine and Classical Fighting Arts Magazine both considered by traditional martial artist as the most serious of magazines on the subject. Formerly, I have obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Medical Doctor's degree. |
